After settling in at Lake Placid and meeting Lauren, she mentioned that leading up to the wedding, she had a string of bad luck, but it seemed to have all gotten out of the way to yield an amazing wedding day with amazing weather, and celebrated with their amazing friends and family in front of the amazing high peaks backdrop of Lake Placid. We started capturing the bridal party getting primped for the big day. The girls had some ideas for some silly pictures and we loved capturing their fun personalities. Then it was off to the ceremony where Lauren and Jared held hands and exchanged vows in front of the majestic, purple mountains. After some photos with family and taking the bridal party around the golf course, we got ready for introductions. Guests enjoyed dances, toasts, and dinner, followed by a fun outdoor dance floor where many guests remained until they were dancing under the stars. The photo booth was a blast as well. We learned during the toasts that Jared is a long distance runner, which seems fitting, because after meeting these two, I can tell they are a couple that is really going to go the distance.
