To say this day was a long time in the making would be an understatement. Kari and Chris were high school sweethearts. They knew they had something special back then and still do 10 years later. They were hitched at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park. The two got ready with different styles: Kari being super organized with labeled binders coordinating the schedule as it unfolded, and then there was Chris, laughing through fashion dilemmas and offering some hilarious photo ops along the way. Upon entering the ceremony, Chris livened things up by telling the crowd to not be so serious, and it was all smiles throughout the short and sweet ceremony. They are the first couple we’ve had to incorporate taking a selfie with a selfie stick at the alter. It was also our first wedding to have a “Best Woman,” ably played by Chris’s cousin, Steph. We took photos during cocktail hour (including a few fun shots in the theater next door) and returned them promptly for introductions. Dances, slides shows, and toasts were followed by dinner and a solid set of dance floor moves. Their was a brief pause for a cupcake cutting, bouquet toss, and a dance for Kari and her Papa; but they danced the rest of the reception away. We hope these two newlyweds have a wonderful adventure on their next chapter as husband and wife.
