Well New Year’s Eve is meant to celebrate new beginnings, and Dana and Chet decided to take this opportunity to start their new beginning as husband and wife. (Not to mention this was a first for us too: our first time shooting a New Year’s wedding!) The two got married in the very cozy Gideon Putnam in Saratoga, just one door away from each other. After a first look there in the room, we headed down for family photos and a few quick shots at Hall of Springs where we were successful keeping the two relatively dry in the picturesque snow-filled landscape. The two had a sweet ceremony with vows they wrote for each other. After that, it was just a quick walk down the hall to where the party started and kept on rocking until well after midnight. Dances, toasts, and dinner gave way to an open dance floor that was busy all night. The photo booth was also a big hit. As if the night couldn’t get any better, a soft, heavy snow fell throughout the reception, creating a winter wonderland backdrop for the reception. We had so much fun ringing in the New Year with this fun couple and the friends and family that came to celebrate their marriage. We wish these two a happy and healthy New Year as newlyweds!
