We knew from the last meeting we had with Ashley and Dwayne that their wedding was going to be a fun one to remember. The details they infused throughout their wedding day were so unique: the bouquets made from book pages, the beautiful wooden watches for the groomsmen, and the great food selection (Dwayne confessed to being on top of that decision) just to name a few. And the theme of vintage meets superheroes kept it classy and fun. After checking in with the bride and groom as they got ready, we all rendezvoused at Congress Park for the first look which gave us a new first: the first, first look with four people (adding the kids of this newly formed family to be a part of this made it all the more special!) After walking around and taking pictures, everyone headed over to the Takk House where all of the guests climbed the three flights of stairs to the light-filled room where the ceremony took place. After we had a few laughs asking some guests why they didn’t take the elevator, only to be met with drop jaws and then a laugh when they saw we were joking, we moved on to getting ready to capture the ceremony. It was a beautiful moment when Ashley was walked down the aisle by both her son and her father. After, everyone headed down to the bar to celebrate. The groom was toasted by not one, or two, but three of his groomsmen, and Ashley’s sister gave a beautiful speech as well. The dance floor started right after dinner and kept on going. Guests made an occasional stop for a drink or to get a picture in the photobooth or play a game of ping pong downstairs. We left these two newlyweds on the dance floor as we said our goodbyes. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple and wish them a beautiful future together!
