Jackie and Jared are not new to the blog. We first shot their engagement a year ago at Indian Ladder Farms, then they braved the old St John’s church for our first Urban Decay Project shoot. Well the third installment of their photo trilogy is their wedding day… which was perfection. When you have a couple as warm and fun as Jackie and Jared, there is a good chance that their friends and family will exude the same kind of energy, and they certainly did. It was nothing but smiles, love, and laughter from when we met them at the hotel that morning to when we said goodbye to them on the dance floor. They got married at the beautiful Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. After that, they and their party began their walk to 90 State which included bravely trekking across the wind tunnel that is the Empire State Plaza. Jackie and Jared had a lovely choreographed first dance that was followed by beautiful toasts and parent dances. Then the dance floor opened for some very high-energy moving and shaking. Mixed in between dance sets was a seductive garter retrieval, a pretty intense bouquet toss, some cake cutting, and some groomsmen karaoke-serenading the groom. I couldn’t picture a more beautiful day for a more beautiful couple, inside and out. Congrats, Jackie and Jared!
