Alison and Mike had a beautiful, late-summer day for their wedding. I often say that our couples deserve it, which they certainly do, but after learning Alison has waited 11 years to cross this bridge, I was more thrilled than usual for the beautiful forecast. They were married in a church in Latham and then headed over to the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy to enjoy a lovely reception with family and friends. After some refreshments, we headed to the courtyard for some pictures and noticed a large bounce house set up. Some members of the bridal party dove in, while others spectated. As photographers, we never know what back drop we will get until the day of the wedding. We were able to get some beautiful sunset pictures before they headed in to be announced and have their celebration officially begin. I joke about their long dating years, but I must say, these two just fit together so well. There was an ease and a comfort between them that comes when love is given time to grow. We wish them all the luck in the world as they continue their journey together!
