Let’s be honest, we have a pretty sweet job. We get to know some awesome couples, feel like part of their family, and capture one of their happiest days. When Nicole, Derek, and Chloe met us a few months ago, I knew good times were to be had. First, Chloe was on top of ensuring the photobooth was going to be a hit, and Nicole and Derek were so down to earth and fun I just couldn’t wait to capture their day. And I’m a sucker for unconventional weddings! First, we made our way to Washington Park for some great pics; then we headed back to The Point for the ceremony and reception. I just loved how their kids were part of the ceremony for their joining of two families (check out Chloe below giving me a glance during the ceremony). Surrounded by close family and friends, on a Sunday afternoon, the dance floor was hopping thanks to DJ Chris Wright. Throughout the day I kept thinking to myself, there is no doubt that these two were meant to be together.
